WHAT IT IS

Politics isn’t just on the news anymore. It’s in our group chats, classrooms, lunch tables, and friendships. One bad take, one screenshot, one comment taken the wrong way, and suddenly everything feels tense.

The Grace Project was created by a student, about students, exploring how teens across red and blue states deal with disagreement, silence, and the pressure to always say the ‘right’ thing. It’s not about debates or hot takes. It’s about what actually happens when real people try to talk, or don’t.

The Grace Project is a film about learning to listen and the unifying power of empathy

WHY IT MATTERS

This isn’t abstract. This is real life.

Staying silent is isolating

A lot of us don’t speak up, not because we don’t care, but because it feels safer to say nothing than to risk being judged or misunderstood, leading to loneliness.

The internet fans flames

Social media rewards outrage, not connection. That energy doesn’t stay online, it follows us into school and can make real conversations feel like a trap.

Empathy changes everything

The film shows students who completely disagree but still listen, respect each other’s humanity, and engage in conversations with empathy.
